Anadrasis Initiative Information is a non-profit Organization founded in 1995.
We work as a receiving Organization with the European Program ERASMUS + and we pretend to offer in Greece to young people from the others countries:
· The opportunity to have the initial vocational training and/or a working experience in order to improve their skills
· To Acquire the know-how needed in order to get started in a professional career and to achieve success
· To live and work in Greece, learning the language, the culture, the corporate spirit, fully immersed in the Greek culture.
We make full-time monitoring of activities
We offer not just a language course but also a cultural program with visits to museums, local handicrafts workshops, visits to local historical points, etc.
Its goals are:
· To gather information about matters that concern young people (education, rights and duties, employment, social discrimination, racism) and relaying this information to them
· The development of information structures for the young people
· Contribution to the development of a European conscience
· Support and promotion of activities offered by the General Secretary for the Young
· Contribution to a complete cultural and social development of the young
· Promotion of volunteer spirit
· Creative use of free time.
All these goals are achieved with the cooperation of the young people themselves through various activities and programs that:
· Are innovative
· Adopt interesting methods
· Are related to local-regional-national-European initiatives
· Are run by young people
· Meet their needs and challenge their interests
· Attract the attention of other European Youth Organizations.
The means and infrastructure that supports the activities and realization of our goals is based on :
· Volunteer working
· Archives rich in printed, electronic and audiovisual data
· Online connection with databases in Greece and abroad
· Internet applications
· The development of an information network in the Cyclades Islands.

Our co-partner for the project YLYS is the Social Cooperative of Cyclades-ALTERA VITA.
Altera Vita is a scientific research centre and implements education and awareness programmes, working with volunteers in the areas of Environment and Culture and social intervention programmes. President of ALTERA VITA is Mr Miltos Sakellariou, Local Project Manager of YLYS
ALTERA VITA. organizes domestic and transnational training sessions on a wide range of topics. To this end it collaborates with a network of experienced trainers and experts on various fields. Experts with special knowledge, experience and training in their subject offer the opportunity for trainees to follow a flexible program from wherever they are, with only limited access to internet. The alternative education programs became topical due to increasing social and professional changes in areas such as the social economy, Health Promotion, Organic Farming, Environment and Sustainable Development, the Arts and Culture, Pedagogy, Psychology, new technologies, which give the ability to specialize and update knowledge through non-formal ways of training as well as qualitative.
The aim of these seminars is to make use of the new knowledge gained by the participants and their application in their professional, personal and social life.
The distance learning system based on the use of e-Learning Moodle platform.
The Moodle (Modular Object Oriented Developmental Learning Environment) is certified free educational content management software (Course Management System) . Moodle is primarily used for the purpose of asynchronous Distance learning.
With the help of the Social Cooperative of Cyclades and its distance learning MOODLE Platform, the distance course of the YLYS program is hosting there, and this is very important and helpful for the diffusion and training of youth trainers, educators, social workers etc.
